Violeta Lopiz was born in Ibiza, Spain. Her illustrations have been published by publishing houses such as Kalandraka, Anaya, Edelvives, Siruela, Bruaá, Editions du Rouerge, Hélium, Cambourakis, Topipittori and Planta Editora. Violeta’s work has been recently awarded by the Biennial Ilustrarte 2016 and selected for the Salon du Livre in Montreul in Korea CJAwards. Her work has also been selected five times in the Bologna Children Book Fair exhibition. Violeta illustrated Les Poings Sur les Lilesa beautiful animated film directed by Lu Bing for the CJ Picture Book FestivalHer work has been exhibited in Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Israel, Turkey, Korea and Japan.  She also illustrated the app Opera XXI for the Royal Theatre, and has work on murals in collaboration with illustrator Valerio Vidali in Germany.  She currently has her studio in Berlin.                                   Giclée print of an original in etching on paper. This limited edition print is printed on artist-quality pigment- and acid-free cotton paper and comes unframed (framing option available separately) Each print in this series of 25, comes with a certificate of authenticity, numbered and signed by the artist with the date of printing. While all prints come unframed, they all fit standard frame sizes and standard pre-cut mat sizes (read: you won’t ever need to pay for pricey custom framing).

                                  About the artist:

                                  Violeta Lopiz was born in Ibiza, Spain. Violeta’s work has been awarded by the Biennial Ilustrarte 2016 and selected for the Salon du Livre in Montreul and Korea CJAwards. Her illustrations have also been selected five times in the Bologna Children Book Fair exhibition. Violeta illustrated Les Poings Sur les Lilesa beautiful animated film directed by Lu Bing for the CJ Picture Book FestivalShe had exhibitions in Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Israel, Turkey, Korea and Japan.  She also illustrated the app Opera XXI for the Royal Theatre, and has work on murals in collaboration with illustrator Valerio Vidal in Germany.  She currently has her studio in Berlin. Her recent hobbies are: dancing without a method, traveling and living in different places, walking without glasses through the park and recording songs that nobody would hear. 

                                  Violeta’s work is bold and sweet, both strong and delicate, as being a part of a dream we don’t want to wake up from.
