Elisa Talentino was born in Ivrea (Turin, Italy) in 1981 where she lives and works.
She is an illustrator and uses painting, printmaking and animation as mediums.
Her illustrations were published in numerous newspapers and magazines, such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, La Repubblica, Il Corriere, La Stampa, Mondadori, Einaudi, Bur-Rizzoli, Bompiani, Il Saggiatore, Edizioni e/o, Goethe Institut. She won (2017/2018) the Gold Medal of 3×3 Mag Professional Show of New York for two consecutive years, and has been selected in international illustration competitions such as Ilustrarte (2014), Bologna Children Book Fair (2015) and Society of Illustrators Annual Exhibition (2019).

In 2017 she illustrated the animated short film and book Dandelion, (Lazy Dog Press, 2018).
Elisa's work was also published in Le jardin d’hiver (Print About Me, 2013), Bendata di stelle (Inuit Editions, 2014), Metamorphosis (La Grande Illusion, 2016),  and Il tramonto birmano (Add Editore, 2016).
Her new children's book with text by Sara Gamberini (Topipittori publishing house), will be released in October 2020.
