Elevation by Makoto Maruyama

There is something inherently attractive in the color combination of this limited edition print by Makoto Maruyama. The way she puts yellow and blue next to each other, red and white; and the combination of those colors with the simple and beautiful composition of the image. It seems that things were frozen for an instant just for us to look at them. In a blink of an eye, the woman will keep walking and the car will start again. The wonderful magic of art.
