About the artist:

Olga Shevchenko is an artist and illustrator from Russia. She studied graphic design and animation at the Moscow State University of Arts. Currently is based in Florence, Italy, where she is studying Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence. In the process of creating her illustrations she uses watercolor, collage, paint for engraving, colored pencils, markers and embroidery. Olga was selected finalist of the Silent Book Contest 2020 (Gianni De Conno Award, Carthusia Edizioni) with her book "Odori della strada",Golden Pinwheel Young Illustrators Competition (2020) and International Festival of Book Illustration and visual literature "Morse" (2020)
