Ed is an Argentinian illustrator currently located in Barcelona. He draws for magazines, newspapers, books, and advertisements in Spain, France, Mexico, and Argentina. He is a frequent contributor to Milan Press’s series of French children’s magazines, including Moi Je lis and Historie pour le petites. He has illustrated stories for Milan Press, Benjamin Media, Auzou, and L’ Abadia de Monserrat, among other publishers. He is the author of the comic books Manu en la playa, El pulpo #6, and Loser; the latter two have each received the Junceda Prize of the Association of Professional Illustrators of Catalonia (APIC). He has contributed comics to Fantagraphics, Bulb Comic, Black Pulp Box, and Dopututto Max. He co-edits the Mamut collection, which specializes in comics for children ages three and older. He is a member of the ILU.STATION collective, the group responsible for organizing the First Festival of Independent Illustrators of Barcelona. Drawing inspiration from a subtle sense of humor, he creates works out of the materials of childhood games and fantasy. The colors and shapes of his images bring smiles to the faces of their viewers.
